This Bible study will supplement the pastor's sermon series from The Story. Each week we will focus upon one aspect of the past
Sunday's sermon based upon selected scriptures from The Story. Employing personal Bible study and informal group discussion,
we will probe both the theological and practical aspects of the selected scriptures. We will attempt to answer two questions
each week: 1) What is the deep meaning to be explored and understood in this scripture?, and 2) How should this scripture
impact my everyday life? Designed for learners, no biblical or theological expertise is needed to join the group.
No registration required. Please bring a spouse or a friend. The study is held in the conference room. Discussion
led by Marion Vreugdenhil.
Growth Groups
Growth Groups are a critical part of Sugar River because we are committed to being a church where “no one stands alone”.
We believe that a dynamic Christian community must be a community of meaningful and valid relationships.
Growth groups allow you to Connect with God and others, Grow in your faith, hope and love, and Serve others in need.
Small groups were critical to the establishment and growth of Christianity and were central to the development of the
Methodist Church.
Growth Groups meet for a fall, winter and spring session, each approximately 10 weeks long. Group discussions are tied
to the message from Pastor Gary on Sunday.
Sugar River offers groups for men , women, couples, families and High School youth. There are even on-line opportunities.
