Growth Groups

Growth groups are a critical part of Sugar River because we are committed to being a church where "no one stands alone". We believe that a dynamic Christian community must be a community of small groups. Growth groups allow you to CONNECT with God and others, GROW in your faith, hope and love, and SERVE others in need. Small groups were critical to the establishment and growth of Christianity and were central to the development of the Methodist Church. Currently there are men’s, women’s and couples’ Growth groups meeting weekly, biweekly, or monthly in homes, at the church, or at other locations. High School Guys Night
Wednesday night is Guy's Night!

Pizza, guy talk, and Jesus are three staples for every Wednesday Night at Sugar River. All high school guys are welcome at 7:30pm in the conference room. Guys night is a great opportunity to hang out and have fun in a comfortable environment while we try to learn how we can act a little more like the coolest guy we know: Jesus. Call Nick at 213-2650 if you have questions or just show up Wednesdays from 7:30-8:30pm!

Ladies Night Out
    Second Monday or Tuesday of each month at a local Restaraunt

The Ladies of Sugar River gather monthly for fun food and fellowship at a local restaraunt each month. Each month, the ladies explore a new eatery. There is no formal membership, anyone can attend any time they want. Guests are always welcome. There is also no formal agenda. Discussions are always lively and relevent to the lives of the ladies.

Women's Book Club
    Third Sunday of each month at the home of a member (rotating hostess)

Each month, the ladies read a different pre-selected book and then gather on the third Sunday for refreshments, fellowship and a lively discussion of the book they have just read. The books are sometimes dark and tragic, other times light and inspirational, but always thought provoking.
