Growth Groups
Growth groups are a critical part of Sugar River because we are committed to being a church where "no one stands alone". We believe that a dynamic Christian community must be a community of small groups.
Growth groups allow you to CONNECT with God and others, GROW in your faith, hope and love, and SERVE others in need. Small groups were critical to the establishment and growth of Christianity and were central to the development of the Methodist Church. Currently there are men’s, women’s and couples’ Growth groups meeting weekly, biweekly, or monthly in homes, at the church, or at other locations.

Contact Jim and Sharon Billmeyer if you are interested. Rehearsals will take place between services. Please plan to attend as often as you can.

Discipleship Ministry

Sugar River is committed to helping believers grow and mature in the knowledge and love of God. The Discipleship Ministry Team exists to provide support for your spiritual growth no matter where you are in your faith journey. The variety of opportunities provided to connect, grow and serve will help give you a better understanding of God, His Word, and His purpose for our lives.

Sunday Bible Study
An ongoing Bible study meets on Sunday mornings after worship emphasizing short-term topical studies using a discussion format. The study is open to all. It is a great place to get started in your discipleship journey.
