Growth Groups
Growth groups are a critical part of Sugar River because we are committed to being a church where
"no one stands alone". We believe that a dynamic Christian community must be a community of small
groups. Growth groups allow you to
CONNECT with God and others, GROW in your faith, hope and love, and SERVE others in need.
Small groups were critical to the establishment and growth of Christianity and were central
to the development of the Methodist Church. Currently there are men’s, women’s and couples’ Growth
groups meeting weekly, biweekly, or monthly in homes, at the church, or at other locations.

The puppet ministry is a team of youth and adults who
are passionate about spreading God’s word. The goal of this team
will be to provide meaningful entertainment to the congregation and
other children at Sugar River.
The puppets will be performing for each of the Family Sunday’s (last
Sunday of the month) and most of the Family Production Nite’s (first
Sunday of the month)!
Contact Jim and Sharon Billmeyer if you are interested. Rehearsals will
take place between services. Please plan to attend as often as you can.

and mature in the knowledge and love of God. The Discipleship Ministry
Team exists to provide support for your spiritual growth no matter where
you are in your faith journey. The variety of opportunities provided

and serve will help give
you a better understanding of God, His Word, and His purpose for our
lives.
Sunday Bible Study
An ongoing Bible study meets on Sunday mornings after worship
emphasizing short-term topical studies using a discussion format. The
study is open to all. It is a great place to get started in your discipleship
journey.
PUSH (Pray Until Something Happens)

for the church, our nation and the world. PUSH members are dedicated
to supporting prayer growth in the church. Contact Marian Maldonado-Pagan
