Return to top of page Service Interest GroupsThe community services team would like to create service interest groups where people with common service interests could partner together to create their own service opportunities. The following are some of the opportunities that the community services team has identified. If you are interested in any of these or have other ideas, please contact Jason Sloat: Return to top of page "Sugar River Serves" cookbooks availableWe've replenished our supply of our Sugar River Serves family cookbooks. Full of wonderful recipes provided by members of Sugar River, These cookbooks make great stocking stuffers or Christmas gifts for friends or family. Many of the treats that you've enjoyed at Sunday fellowship time can be found in the cookbook. Cookbooks can be purchased in fellowship hall, for $10 each or 3 for $25. All proceeds go to the Sugar River building fund. Return to top of page Help Keep The River CleanDid you know that all the cleaning and janitorial work here at the River is done by volunteers? We currently have three (soon to be two) couples that clean the church on a monthly rotation system. We are in desperate need of additional couples/families/groups, to join the rotation and help keep our Church Home clean. Time commitment is approximately 3-4 hours per week during your rotation. The reward is the feeling of satisfaction from serving our Church family. For more information please contact Mark Hagensick at 833-3097 or mmhagen@yahoo.com. Return to top of page
