Courage to Care: Engaging in a Culture of Care

I suppose there are those who see church as an opportunity to be served with good worship and programs. However, the call of the Gospel is that we move from “serve-us” to service in the name of Christ. There is such power and meaning in the ministry and mission of serving others. How might we engage a life of service that can transform the world into a place of God love and purpose?

Now for next Sunday, November 25th, we will entrust our next steps to engaging our relationship with God and others through the dedication of commitment cards. This includes taking steps to deepen our discipleship in the areas of Connect, Grow and Serve. And yes, a significant aspect of our Serve, is our commitment to grow in our Generosity, through the dedication of our Estimate of Giving Cards for 2019.

Blessings,
Gary Holmes
