Christmas Connection: Connecting Through Love

On this second Sunday in Advent, we affirm the message of this season, God loves the world! Do we hear that message often enough? Do you feel the love of God in your life, in this season, in this community of faith? God shows up to reveal the message of Christmas, through this child comes the message and light of God, “You are loved!”

Blessings,

Associated Scripture Passage(s):

John 1:14-18, John 3:16-17

John 1:14-18

14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 15John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 16And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. 18No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. (KJV)

John 3:16-17

16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (KJV)
