The Church: Tuning In To Get It Right

Friends

The Friends TV series ran from 1994 until 2004. One of the most popular sitcoms, it brought us into the lives of 6 friends. What kinds of friendships do we find in the church? This section of Romans 12 gives us specific insight into the relationship dynamic that gives us life and purpose. We may not play in a water fountain, but we can enjoy the fountain of life through God’s gift or our relationships. Let’s seek God’s direction to make the relationships that matter most...better!

Romans 12:9-15

9Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. 10Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; 11Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; 12Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; 13Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. 14Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. 15Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. (KJV)
