Service Mission

Service Mission opportunities allow us to serve those in need outside the walls of Sugar River at the local, national and international level.  Local opportunities are available in the Verona Community and surrounding area.  National opportunities include ventures with the United States and support disaster relief efforts and Family Mission trips.  International Missions reach beyond our national borders with our focus on Mission Guatemala.

International Mission

We are very excited about our long-term relationship with the people of San Andres, Guatemala through a United Methodist based mission organization called Mission Guatemala. ( ). Each January, Sugar River sends a team of 10-12 people to support the needs of this community.  Various construction projects and interaction with the school children are the focus of the trip. Please view the Guatemala Brochure for details and email with questions.
