Winter Gear Collection
Sugar River UMC is the district donation site for the winter gear program and will be collecting and processing all the donated winter gear for the entire school district!
Collection times happen outside SR every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 9am - 6pm throughout October!
The most needed items (of all sizes) are: jackets, snow pants, boots, hats, and waterproof mittens/gloves.
As a reminder, you can always donate to the VASD Community Closet at SR! Just send a check with Community Closet in the Memo or donate online under the Give tab (select Community Closet)!
We are not able to accept donations of clothing at this time, but those items can be taken to St. Vinney’s or Goodwill if you choose.
In our Community and Beyond
Serve: The Hands of Discipleship
Service Mission opportunities allow us to serve outside the walls of Sugar River at the local, national and international level. Local service opportunities are available in Verona and surrounding area. National mission opportunities are available within the U.S., including disaster relief efforts, and high school and family mission trips. International Missions are available beyond our national borders with our focus on Mission Guatemala.
